Best practices to keep your PC running smooth

We all know our PC’s never run as smooth or fast as when we take it out of the box. Over time more files are installed or downloaded. Things tend to get misconfigured over time. But There are ways to keep your PC running buttery smooth, you just have to put a little time and effort in. One great practice is make a backup of anything important to you, or a Image backup to replicate your whole system. This way if you run into issues you will be able to restore it how it was when it came out of the box so to speak. Great program for Image backup is Norton Ghost. Another good practice is to use file and registry cleaners, a great way to get rid of those pesky temp files, cookies etc. A great program highly recommended is CCleaner, this does all that, plus it scans for issues with the registry. A no brainer run ¬†Antivirus software, AVG has a great free version. Oh almost forgot another great backup method cloud storage. Cloud storage is blowing up, I know non memberships give small amounts for free, but there not bad. Here are a few great Cloud programs, Google Drive, SkyDrive, DropBox etc. And lastly run Antispyware and Antimalware software.
